About Us
Welcome to Renaissance Rose Cavaliers!
I fell in love with cavaliers when I discovered their gentle, easy to train, incredibly cuddly personalities paired with gorgeous and low maintenance good looks. They love children and make wonderful family pets or service dogs. Our inspiration are the original Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that lived alongside royalty as miniature versions of field spaniels.
We have sought to focus on breeding with health and versatility as our greatest program goals. Our dogs are equally well suited to couch cuddling, hiking, agility, or therapy. We try to breed cavaliers on the smaller side 10-14 lbs. All of the pups here are raised in the house and start housetraining as soon as they can toddle. Our pups are naturally quiet, well socialized, and incredibly easy to train. We have a holistic approach to puppy rearing as this contributes to long term health and longevity.
My Cavaliers and I live on a large farm and enjoy daily rambles through the woods and fields. We do agility for some extra fun, and most evenings find me curled up on the couch under a pile of adoring Cavaliers.
Louis
Louis is the superstar of our program! He was imported from Hungary to bring genetic diversity to our US based bloodlines. His lines boast excellent health testing results which he passes on to his pups. He is out of direct champion lines including(add info here). Louis adores people and attention. He loves sleeping on the bed, playing with his toys, and cuddling on the couch and passes his super sweet temperament to his pups. He also loves training and going for walks. He has excellent manners both on and off leash. He weighs about 15 lbs
Angelica
Angelica is a delightful little girl. She particularly loves playing with her fellow dogs, lying on her back in my lap for belly rubs, and going for hikes, bounding along down the trail with her ears flapping behind her. Like most cavaliers her favorite sport is lying snuggled up on the couch. She is out of AKC registered health tested lines with many champions in her lineage. She weighs about 10 lbs.
Georgiana
Georgiana is our resident cuddle buddy. She is an affectionate, inquisitive little girl with a lot of love to give. She has the gentlest personality and loves to mother babies, even if they aren't her own pups! She enjoys our daily off lead rambles through the woods and loves to play! At night she enjoys cuddling right next to me in bed. She is from health tested AKC registered bloodlines. She weighs about 12(?) lbs.
Renaissance Rose Queen Charlotte
Charlotte may still be a puppy, but that doesn't stop her! She loves following along on our daily off lead rambles through the woods and fields. Charlotte is just the sweetest little girl you will ever meet, and flops on the couch to watch a movie right alongside the adults. She is from AKC registered health tested bloodlines and should weigh around 11 lbs when grown.
